Negombo

Negombo is only 15minutes away from the Bandaranayake International airport in Colombo. This city is ideal for relaxing after a Holoday in Sri Lanka.
Negombo beach road has many hotels according to your budget. I love this beach road which has many options of international and local dishes.

My favorite restaurants are Prego and their new Resturant, Dolce Vita, Choys near the lagoon, Lords and Biju.
Prego is good for international food and wine!
Dolce vita is good for their gelato, pasta and coffee.
Biju is good for steak.

The ideal places to watch sunset is Center point at Jerwing Blue and Dolce vita. I find both places very relaxing!
And very good service!

There is a temple called Angurukaramulla in Negombo. It's a must visit place.
And lagoon is an eye catching view too.
Don't forget to visit fish market to see how local fish mongers sell their fish.
St Mary's church is a beautiful church.

Best place to exchange your foreign currency is Jewell Lanka in Negombo.
You get a good rate.

Summer everyday! Even rainy season has summer. Warm and nice weather !

Welcome to Srilanka

Sri lanka is the pearl of Indian ocean. It was called Thambapanni, Serandib and Ceylon in the past.
It was ruled by Portuguese, Dutch and English. Became an independent island in 1948.

It has only two seasons called dry and wet. Blessed to be without winter.
Center of this lovely island is cold. That region looks like a little England.

There are so many things to do in Srilanka.
Beaches, historical ruins, sports, rich culture, food and many more attractions.

Welcome all of you to my amazing paradise.
